About Bloomin' Bert
There's not much to say, really.
He lives in Phuket, an island off the south-west coast of Thailand, and writes a weekly column for the Phuket Gazette. Officially, the column revolves around the subject of gardening, but usually deteriorates into a meaningless rant about nothing in particular.
He's not the most patient of souls, especially when it comes to Americans, the Welsh, ugly people, Germans, moths, Americans, political correctness, people who wear socks with sandals, British weather, Americans, people with stripy trousers and/or ginger hair, do-gooders and of course the French.
He likes the occasional beer, too.
