Like most things, including tropical gardening in Phuket, he hasn't a clue what he's doing. This site is hardly going to win any awards for presentation or layout, as he'd far rather be in the pub drinking a cold beer than sitting in front of a computer making a website look half-decent.

In theory, he writes about tropical gardening, specifically gardening in Phuket, Thailand. Most of the time though, he tends to rant on about a totally random topic that has absolutely nothing to do with gardening. Some of his so-called 'gardening in Phuket' stories are already here - just click on the articles by plant or articles by rant buttons on the left. The same stories are under both headings, so don't be surprised if you come across the same thing twice. One of his readers wrote to him and said that he felt bit cheated when he realised he was re-reading the same story with a different heading. Well tough. That's the way it is.

Bert would like to apologise to anyone who may be offended by any of the contents. He'd like to, but he most certainly won't.

If he gets his idle backside into gear, he'll be adding more of his 'gardening' columns soon, and inevitably upsetting a few Americans, Germans, Welsh, or anyone that wears socks with sandals in the process. Sometimes these articles even talk about the subject of tropical gardening, or gardening in Phuket.
